Share Your Garage/Home and Get a Discount!

What Happens:

  1. We drop off the boxes at your home/garage.

    • You must be there during that time to chat with the Farmer, at least for the first week.

  2. You keep the boxes safe, clean, and cool.

  3. CSA members come and pick up their goodies.

    • At least for the first couple of weeks, we ask that you stick around during the pickup times.

    • After folks have the hang of the distribution, you can pop in and out, but we prefer you’re home most of the time.

  4. You must accept empty boxes and deconstruct them for storage at your home. We will pick up empty boxes the following week.

    • The farm also delivers perishable items in an insulated cooler. Members who purchased perishable items retrieve them from the insulated cooler; everything should be labeled. Members are not permitted to take the cooler with them.

  5. Please report back to the Farm/Rebecca about who did not pick up their veggies/add-ons for the week.

    • You get any leftover shares that aren’t picked up or can donate them.

We have one of the best-known and longest-running CSA programs in Mid-Michigan. The season lasts 15 weeks, from June through mid-October, and deliveries happen weekly.

Deliveries are made in the afternoons on Wednesdays or Thursdays.

We aim to always have the boxes ready for pickup around 4:00-6:00 pm, but we can adjust these times based on your schedule.

What Makes a Great Host Location?

An ideal host location is a front porch or garage with limited exposure to the sun and rain and easily accessible from the road. Parking for 2-3 people is also a plus.

Every site is different, though!

What Areas Are We Looking For?

Haslett, Lansing, Northside Lansing, Westside Lansing, Southside Lansing, East Lansing… Others? It never hurts to ask :)

What Makes a Great Host?

We think hosts are going to become a crucial part of our farm! Hosts are part of our extended farm family and receive those perks. We prefer to have hosts who belong to our CSA before hosting and know the system.

Hosts will have access to bulk produce and seconds at a reduced rate, as well as special, limited-time offerings. Non-business hosts receive a discount on their CSA and get it delivered to their door.

We also hope that, as a host, you would help promote our CSA in your neighborhood. You must have at least ten people interested in your location in order to host for the year.
