What If There’s a Bad Crop of Something?

In the winter, Titus Farms tends to search out other farmers who may have extra crops that they aren’t willing or able to store for distribution to our CSA members.

We reach far and wide within the Mitten for excellent storage and fresh veggies!

Some of our partners include:

Yoder Family Farm in Bunkerhill

Stephen Yoder Farm in Bunkerhill

Blue Mitten Hydroponic Farm in Okemos

Providence and Blue Stem Farm near Traverse City

Lake Divide Farm near Stockbridge

Add-Ons?

Add-ons are additional shares that can be distributed alongside your veggie share. To learn more about these shares or their producers, please see our Summer Add-On page, however, please be aware not all of these options are available in winter.

Winter Add-Ons include:

Egg Shares from Titus Farms

  • These can be purchased in multiples if you want more than one dozen per distribution.

  • Eggs can also be purchased from the store on any given week.

Bread Shares from Stone Circle Bakehouse

  • Kevin at Stone Circle is consistently at both markets, but purchasing a share means no waiting in line!

  • Look for his “foundational” breads in the share: whole wheat, Pugliese, toasted seed, and more!

Mushroom Shares from Mycophile’s Garden

  • One bag of mushrooms grown or foraged in Michigan!

  • Jess and Chris are at the markets, but purchasing a share means no waiting in line!

Hydroponic Lettuce from Blue Mitten Farms

  • One bag, 2-4 heads of lettuce hydroponically grown in Okemos, Michigan!

  • Lettuce may also be available in the store periodically.

Microgreen Share from Gaia Green Organics in Mason

  • One package, approximately 6 oz., of various types of microgreens.

  • Microgreens from Titus Farms are also offered starting in March, but this is a great way to eat something fresh every week!

Our CSA Style

The same as our Summer CSA, you can customize your box each time with up to 35 credits of veggies and local goodies!

Cost: $30 per box

w/check discount: $29.10 per box

  • You choose the seasonal items that go into your box each week.

    Busy? Forget to customize?

No worries! You’ll receive the Farmer’s Choice.

  • Customize it online and send anyone you’d like to pick it up!

They just have to tell us your name and the box can quickly be scooped up to be taken home.

  • As CSA members, you get the first choice of what our farm produces.

If the weather is nasty, no more standing around or searching; we’ll have the box ready with the best veggies in the Mitten!
